Refund Policy

Important notice

This Refund Policy applies to purchases made through the Worlds For All Shop, a WooCommerce online store selling digital products only. Our current shop products are downloadable PDF guides and MP3 calming, guided imagery, relaxation and wellbeing audio recordings. No physical products are sold through this policy unless clearly stated on a product page.

This policy is written for customers in the United Kingdom and should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Disclaimer Policy. It is intended to explain how refunds, cancellations and digital download issues are handled. It does not remove or reduce any legal rights you may have under UK consumer law.

1. Digital products and instant access

Most Worlds For All Shop products are made available shortly after payment has been completed. This may include an on-screen download link, an email containing a download link, access through a customer account, or another digital delivery method used by the website.

Because downloadable files can be copied, saved and retained once delivered, refunds for digital products must be handled differently from refunds for physical goods. We aim to be fair and reasonable, while also protecting the value of our original PDF guides, MP3 recordings and creative intellectual property.

2. Your right to cancel before a download begins

In the UK, consumers normally have a 14-day cancellation period for distance purchases. However, different rules apply to digital content supplied immediately. If you ask us to provide digital content before the end of the 14-day cancellation period, and you acknowledge that you may lose your right to cancel once the download or streaming begins, you may no longer have the right to cancel after access has started.

For this reason, the checkout process may ask you to confirm that you want immediate access to your digital product and understand that your cancellation rights may be affected once the digital content is supplied. Please do not complete the purchase if you do not agree to immediate digital delivery.

3. When refunds will usually not be given

Refunds will not usually be given where:

  • the product has already been downloaded, accessed, opened, streamed or delivered;
  • the customer has changed their mind after purchase;
  • the customer has purchased the wrong product despite the product title, description and format being visible before checkout;
  • the customer expected a different style, tone, length, voice, outcome or personal result from the PDF guide or MP3 recording;
  • the customer no longer wants the product after receiving it;
  • the customer has shared, copied or attempted to redistribute the product;
  • the issue is caused by the customer using an incompatible device, outdated software, insufficient storage, incorrect email address, poor internet connection, or local settings outside our control.

This does not affect your statutory rights if digital content is faulty, not as described, or not supplied with reasonable care and skill.

4. When we may offer a refund, replacement or alternative remedy

We will consider a refund, replacement download, store credit or another reasonable remedy where:

  • you have accidentally made a duplicate purchase of the same product;
  • the product file is corrupt, incomplete or cannot be opened after reasonable troubleshooting;
  • the wrong digital file has been supplied to you;
  • the product is materially different from the product description on the shop page;
  • a technical fault on our website prevents delivery and we cannot provide a working alternative;
  • there has been an obvious pricing, product or order error which we accept as our responsibility.

Where a product does not work as expected, our first response will usually be to help you access the file, resend the download link, provide the correct format if available, or supply a replacement copy. A refund may be offered if the issue cannot reasonably be resolved.

5. How to request a refund

To request a refund or support with a digital download, please contact Worlds For All as soon as possible and ideally within 14 days of purchase. Please include:

  • your full name;
  • order number;
  • email address used at checkout;
  • product title;
  • purchase date;
  • a clear explanation of the issue;
  • screenshots or error messages where relevant.

We may ask for additional information to verify the order and understand the problem. We aim to respond reasonably and professionally, but response times may vary depending on workload, weekends, holidays or technical issues.

6. Download problems and customer responsibility

Before requesting a refund for access problems, please check:

  • your internet connection;
  • your spam or junk email folder;
  • that the email address entered at checkout was correct;
  • that your device has enough storage space;
  • that you have suitable software to open PDF files and play MP3 audio files;
  • that your browser or device is not blocking downloads;
  • that any security software is not preventing access.

PDF files usually require a PDF reader or browser capable of opening PDFs. MP3 files usually require a standard audio player. Worlds For All is not responsible for device-specific, software-specific or internet-related issues outside our control, although we will try to assist where reasonably possible.

7. Duplicate purchases

If you accidentally buy the same product twice, please contact us promptly with both order numbers. If we can verify the duplicate purchase and the request appears genuine, we may refund the duplicate order or offer an alternative product of similar value. We reserve the right to refuse repeated or suspicious duplicate purchase claims.

8. Incorrect purchases

Please read all product descriptions carefully before purchasing. Product pages should explain whether the item is a PDF guide, MP3 audio recording, bundle or other digital resource. If you purchase the wrong product, we are not automatically required to refund the order once the digital file has been delivered. However, if you contact us quickly and the file has not been downloaded or accessed, we may consider an exchange or store credit at our discretion.

9. Product expectations and outcomes

Worlds For All PDF guides and MP3 recordings are designed for education, self-reflection, relaxation, wellbeing support and personal development. They are not sold with a guarantee that they will fix a problem, cure a condition, resolve a family situation, remove anxiety, change behaviour, improve sleep, treat mental health difficulties or produce a specific personal outcome.

Refunds will not normally be given because a product did not produce the emotional, behavioural, relational, therapeutic, educational or wellbeing outcome a customer hoped for. Please read the Disclaimer Policy before purchasing.

10. Abuse, misuse and copyright concerns

Refunds may be refused where we reasonably believe that a customer has downloaded, copied, retained, shared, uploaded, resold, distributed or otherwise misused a product before requesting a refund. Worlds For All reserves the right to protect its intellectual property and take appropriate action where digital products are copied or used without permission.

11. Refund method and timing

Where a refund is approved, it will normally be processed back to the original payment method used at checkout. Processing times may depend on the payment provider, bank or card issuer. We cannot guarantee the exact date on which funds will appear in your account.

12. Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you have a concern about an order, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve the matter. If a chargeback or payment dispute is raised without contacting us, we may provide evidence to the payment provider showing product delivery, download access, checkout consent, order confirmation and correspondence.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our shop, products, payment systems, WooCommerce processes or legal requirements. The version published on the website at the time of purchase will normally apply to that purchase.
